Position Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, stage, load, and unload products within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on reach truck experience, preferably within the last three months, and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow warehouse procedures, and a dependable work ethic to support daily distribution and inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transports products to and from designated areas in the facility.
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous reach truck operation experience on the job within the last 3 months. 2+ years' experience preferred.
- Good math, language, and reading skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- May be required to use RF scanner gun.
- A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $18.50 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled

- Weekends | Saturdays and Sunday | 7:00 AM – Completion
