Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring products are built to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and subassemblies
  • Perform quality checks
  • Interpret technical drawings
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School or GED or equivalent  
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment  
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced  
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English  
  • Limited understanding of PLC, VFD and Circuit Breakers  
  • Understand and know the differences between NEMA ratings of enclosures  
  • Knowledgeable in identifying wire gauges, colors and understanding ampacities
  • Knowledgeable at installing wire labels and device tags  
  • Able to read and understand tape measures (Metric and Standard)  
  • Able to read and identify colors on wires  
  • Confident working with hand tools and all power tools with little guidance  
  • Understand wire gauges, ampacities, and their uses.  
  • Limited understanding of what PLC, VFD, Circuit breakers etc. are and what their roles are in the control system.  
  • Understand and know the differences between type ratings of enclosures  
  • Able to work with different styles of wire labels and device tags  
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis    
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled  
Work Schedule
  • 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
