Provide electrical support for the final assembly department. The role requires daily manufacturing responsibilities that are expected to be carried out with minimal supervision. Some job requirements are set in a team environment while others may be left to the individual to prioritize and schedule. A good working relationship is required with both office and factory employees.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to bend and install conduit (Rigid, IMC, EMT) with minimal supervision
- Ability to pull and terminate wiring to electrical devices
- Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings and schematics
- Ability to oversee team(s) of mechanics and helpers
- Ability to understand and comprehend NEC codes
- Ability to test electrical components for proper functionality
- Ability to install control wiring and components
- Maintain flexibility with assigned tasks
- Understand and follow proper safety instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Other duties may be added as needed by supervision
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
- This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience in electrical services as determined by the plant manager.
