Automation Engineer – Onsite Integration & Start Up
Lebanon, IN
 
We’re looking to connect with experienced automation engineers interested in an on‑site role in Lebanon, Indiana. This position is well suited for engineers who prefer working locally in the field and are not looking for a travel‑heavy role.
This is a hands‑on automation role supporting startup and integration activities on a large, complex project. The work is highly practical and execution‑focused for engineers who enjoy getting into real systems, figuring things out, and helping bring equipment online.
What the role involves
  • Full‑time, on‑site automation support in Lebanon, IN
  • Startup, commissioning, and operational support for automated equipment
  • Jumping into existing PLC and HMI logic to troubleshoot, stabilize, and improve systems
  • Working with a variety of vendor‑supplied equipment and control platforms
  • Supporting integration between machines and higher‑level systems
  • Working closely with client engineers, vendors, and site teams
 
What we’re looking for
  • Strong automation fundamentals with real programming experience
  • Comfort working across different platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar)
  • Ability to open unfamiliar systems and understand them quickly
  • Hands‑on troubleshooting experience during startup or commissioning
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment
 
This role is intended for experienced engineers, not entry‑level or new‑grad candidates.
