Job Summary
We are searching for a dependable detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our manufacturing and distribution operations team in Faribault, MN. This role is essential to ensuring products are accurately packaged, safely handled, and shipped according to customer and business requirements. You will work closely with production and shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, and safe material handling practices while supporting daily fulfillment operations.
We are searching for a dependable detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our manufacturing and distribution operations team in Faribault, MN. This role is essential to ensuring products are accurately packaged, safely handled, and shipped according to customer and business requirements. You will work closely with production and shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, and safe material handling practices while supporting daily fulfillment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and manage job orders and sales orders using EPICOR (ERP)
- Ensure products are packaged and shipped accurately according to order requirements
- Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Become familiar with all products shipped to and from the facility
- Understand and apply packaging requirements, including pallet sizes, box dimensions, and crate requirements
- Stack, package, and label finished products for shipment
- Operate packaging equipment such as pallet wrappers and industrial scales
- Load and unload trailers, including dry vans and flatbeds
- Safely handle materials using forklifts and electric pallet jacks (certification required)
- Lift and move products that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Use hand and power tools as needed, including panel saws, compound miter saws, nail guns, and screw guns
- Perform quality checks and inspections to verify products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and staging area
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read instructions, operate equipment safely, and visually inspect products
- Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely completion of tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Intermittently throughout the shift
- Ability to read, write, and understand plant directives in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Basic computer skills with accurate data entry
- Basic math skills to interpret SOPs, process sheets, tally sheets, and track materials and scrap
- Forklift and electric pallet jack experience. Certification preferred
- Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching

- 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00am-3:30pm
