Job Description

We are searching for a weekend Material Handler to join our team in Faribault, MN. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and warehouse organizations to support production operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a consistent weekend schedule, hands-on work, and opportunities to build experience in material handling, ERP systems, and forklift operations in a manufacturing environment.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct material transactions in alignment with production schedules and Epicor (ERP) signals  
  • Pull, issue, and transfer materials within Epicor (training provided)  
  • Read and understand job travelers and sales orders to support material flow  
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Learn to operate and become certified on various forklifts  
  • Safely operate equipment and visually inspect purchased parts  
  • Clean, restock, and organize warehouse and material storage areas  
  • Support general material movement throughout the facility
  • Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)  
  • Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements  
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all work assignments  

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to read information, safely operate machines and visually inspect materials
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand plant directives written in English
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
Schedule
  • 1st shift, Weekends, Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:30pm
