Job Summary
We are in urgent need of Warehouse Heavy Lifters to help prepare and stage ceramics and glass items for print production. No prior experience or training is needed. Must be able to lift weights of 50+ pounds regularly, and occasionally above shoulder height.
Key Responsibilities
- Open boxes with a box opener.
- Inspect items for defects.
- Carefully remove items from bags or gift boxes.
- Place items on a plywood shelf.
- Move full shelves to a bakery cart.
- Ensure that lids are correct and tightened.
- Tape lids, draw lines, etc. as directed by supervisor.
- Move full carts to waiting areas.
- Organize empty boxes.
- Label production sheet with box location.
- Assist with flame technicians when needed.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to perform repetitive grasping, gripping, grabbing with hands as well as repetitive bending and stooping as needed for various job duties.
- Heavy Lifters ONLY – must be able to lift 15-50 lbs. regularly, and occasionally above shoulder height.
- Performs other duties as specified in job description addendum or as assigned
- Dependable and punctual
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Able to work as part of a team
- Always wear mandated PPE
Work Schedule:
- 9:00am-6:00pm | Overtime Available
