Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager with strong estimating capabilities to oversee projects from preconstruction through close-out. This role is ideal for a professional who can confidently manage client relationships, pricing, scheduling, and execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial roofing projects from bid/award through completion
- Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and materials
- Maintain communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Track costs, manage change orders, and protect project margins
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Oversee project documentation, billing, and close-out
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial roofing project management experience
- Strong estimating / takeoff experience
- Proficiency reading construction drawings & specifications
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Metal, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both estimating and project management
- Familiarity with project management / estimating software
- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
