Job Description:
As an Installation Technician, you will install HVAC systems in new and used school and commercial shuttle buses. This includes mounting and connecting components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems. You will work in a hands-on, shop environment, both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements:
As an Installation Technician, you will install HVAC systems in new and used school and commercial shuttle buses. This includes mounting and connecting components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems. You will work in a hands-on, shop environment, both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience. Previous experience as a technician or mechanic is a plus.
- Working knowledge of A/C systems and components is a plus.
- You must provide your own basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and manuals.
- Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication skills.
- Technical School, 609 Certification, CDL plus.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00am-3:30pm
