Job Summary
We are seeking Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Faribault, MN on 2nd Shift. This role supports multiple assembly lines and plays a critical role in producing high-quality portable power distribution equipment and electromechanical assemblies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Assemblers in this role may work across small build and large build assemblies, building products to print by mounting components, wiring assemblies, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Faribault, MN on 2nd Shift. This role supports multiple assembly lines and plays a critical role in producing high-quality portable power distribution equipment and electromechanical assemblies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Assemblers in this role may work across small build and large build assemblies, building products to print by mounting components, wiring assemblies, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build assemblies to print by laying out and physically mounting electrical and mechanical components
- Wire assemblies according to schematics and diagrams with support from electricians as needed
- Perform OHM testing on panels to verify builds meet print and quality requirements
- Use hand and power tools to assemble components safely and accurately
- Read, understand, and follow engineering and manufacturing documentation, including bills of material (BOMs), assembly drawing, work instructions, and wiring schematics and diagrams
- Accurately complete and maintain required production documentation throughout the assembly process
- Maintain and safely operate hand and power tools used in assembly work
- Perform in-process quality inspections and verify assemblies meet required specifications
- Identify and escalate nonconformance's to appropriate resources
- Collaborate effectively with teammates and cross functional partners
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and shop standards including all PPE requirements
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, or electromechanical assembly preferred
- Abilit to read, interpret, and comprehend electrical schematics and diagrams
- Experience working in a high-volume or production driven environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely work completion
- Good hand dexterity and grip strength for detailed assembly work
- Proficient use of hand and power tools
- Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and drive closure on task with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross functional team environment
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 3:30pm – 2:00am | Monday-Thursday
