In this position, you will assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align, and fasten parts and units into assemblies, subassemblies, or frames. Install wire labels and device tags working with different styles. This position requires that you have a basic understanding of schematics, mechanical and electrical assembly.

Install wire labels and device tags working with different styles. This position requires that you have a basic understanding of schematics, mechanical and electrical assembly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Basic Qualifications
- High School or GED or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Limited understanding of PLC, VFD and Circuit Breakers
- Understand and know the differences between NEMA ratings of enclosures
- Knowledgeable in identifying wire gauges, colors and understanding ampacities
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledgeable at installing wire labels and device tags
- Able to read and understand tape measures (Metric and Standard)
- Able to read and identify colors on wires
- Confident working with hand tools and all power tools with little guidance
- Understand wire gauges, ampacities, and their uses.
- Limited understanding of what a PLC, VFD, Circuit breakers etc. are and what their roles are in the control system.
- Understand and know the differences between type ratings of enclosures
- Able to work with different styles of wire labels and device tags
- Good Attitude and work ethics
- Have a Mechanical aptitude
- Understand and comprehend tasks presented
- Working overtime as required
- Works well with others and in a team setting
- Basic computer skills
