Job Summary
We are searching for a Senior Material Coordinator who possesses a strong knowledge of their responsibilities helping to problem solve, guide, and organize a group of material handlers. This role requires that candidates possess a deep understanding and comprehension of warehouse material handling and best practices, working knowledge with ERP Systems, demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities while working cross-functionally in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operator machines and visually inspect raw materials
  • Minimum 4 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment or proven knowledge and understanding of material handling best practices
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and coordination abilities  
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
  • Frequent lifting, standing, bending and reaching required
  • Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform this job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
Addition Qualifications
  • Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products
  • Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc., and to keep accurate account of materials used during the manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
