Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry Level Fiberglass Machine Operator to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and monitoring machinery used in the processing of fiberglass materials, including resin-based products. Ideal candidates will have experience in textile or construction environments, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor fiberglass production machines and related equipment
- Mix and handle resin materials according to production specifications
- Oversee both dry and wet machine processes, including liner production and packaging
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency standards are met
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor adjustments to maintain efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE at all times
Key Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred; textile or construction backgrounds are highly transferable
- Stable work history (3+ years with at least one employer preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (minimum 70% proficiency)
- Comfortable working around fiberglass materials, resin, and production fumes
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active environment
- Steel toe boots required; must adhere to PPE guidelines (gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
Available Shifts
- 1st | Monday-Friday | 6:00am-2:00pm
- 2nd | Monday-Friday | 2:00pm-10:00pm | $0.50 differential
- 3rd | Sunday-Thursday | 10:00pm-6:00am | $1.00 differential
Work Environment
This position involves working with fiberglass and resin materials. Long sleeves and proper protective equipment are required to ensure safety. The role may involve exposure to fumes and requires strict adherence to workplace safety standards.
