As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying tools, dies, and fixtures while supporting machine setup and operation. as well as implementing all related preventative maintenance programs. This is a physical, shop floor role requiring strong technical skills and a collaborative mind set. Must be flexible to work various or extended shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, maintain and make engineering changes to all tooling (dies & die details) and fixtures
- Assist technical services in machine repair, changeover, setup, and operation as required
- Have ability to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems
- Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
- Able to program & operate CNC equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Journeyman’s certification (preferred) and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and problem-solving skills.
- Able to interpret technical documents and write routine reports.
- Basic math skills including ratios, percentages, and proportions.
- Able to lift/move 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and operate equipment regularly.
