We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and executing preventive maintenance at a corrugated packaging facility. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring both mechanical and electrical know-how. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and ready to contribute to continuous improvement in machine reliability and workplace safety.  

Primary Responsibilities: Including but not limited to
  • Perform and document preventative maintenance across all machine centers

  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and prioritize critical repairs

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with operators to identify root causes

  • Maintain organization of tools, parts, and the maintenance shop

  • Execute corrective actions for identified safety risks or equipment failures

  • Collaborate on PM schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records

Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical skills; experience with welders, torches, grinders, etc.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Experience with a Fosber machines a major plus

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics

  • Proficient with eMaintenance systems and basic computer applications (Excel, Outlook)

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management abilities
