We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations at the Kansas City facility. This individual must bring deep experience in mechanical press maintenance, hydraulic systems, and PLC troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of the metal stamping and blanking process. The role focuses heavily on equipment reliability and uptime—not robotics—and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial production setting.

- Lead, schedule, and develop a team of multi-skilled maintenance technicians and electricians across two shifts.
- Own and manage the plant’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of mechanical systems, especially:
- Mechanical blanking presses
- Hydraulic systems
- Levelers, feeders, uncoilers
- Conveyors and automated stackers
- Mechanical blanking presses
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Modicon)
- Motor controls and drive systems (AC/DC)
- Electrical systems up to 460V, 3-phase

- Oversee documentation of work orders, shift reports, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors for parts and service and manage spare parts inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth expertise in hydraulics, mechanical presses, and PLC control systems.
- Prior experience in a metal stamping or blanking facility is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and industrial safety standards.
- Comfortable managing a team and working hands-on when needed.
- Strong communicator and collaborator; highly organized and detail oriented.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
