We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Journeyman's License (Preferred).
Duties:
  • Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit.
  • Overseeing, or participating in, wire installations with conduit & cable tray.
  • Connecting power to equipment.
  • The ability to lead/develop up to 4 apprentice electricians.
  • Ability to stand, walk ,and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environment.
  • Ability to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
  • May be exposed to high and precarious places.
  • Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in the Commercial/Industrial construction industry.
  • Proficiency in working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adapting to varying environments and challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay:  $35.00 – $44.00 & $120 Per Diem per day worked.
Expected hours:  40-60 Hours/Week
