As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding lives by installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining fire alarms and low-voltage life safety systems. Your work will span new construction projects, retrofits, and ongoing service assignments in diverse settings such as schools, churches, and commercial buildings. Serving clients across Texas, you’ll ensure safety and reliability while working with advanced IP-based control systems, access control panels, and cutting-edge fire life safety technology. Expect to visit 4–8 job sites per week depending on scope. Most days begin from home using a company vehicle, with tools, laptop, and company gas card provided.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Preventive Maintenance Inspections

  • IP Controls Service and Installations

  • Access Control Testing and Troubleshooting

  • Fire Alarm System Programming, Device Replacement, and Repairs

  • On-call response and scheduled service

  • Coordination with site managers, GCs, and electricians

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in fire alarm service, install, or maintenance

  • Experience with preventive maintenance, system inspections, and access control systems

  • Knowledge of IP-based fire and access systems a strong plus

  • NICET Level I or II, FAL License (State of TX) preferred

  • Basic wiring and panel troubleshooting experience

  • Clean driving record and valid license
