A leading manufacturer of commercial laundry equipment systems is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Specialist to support the procurement and vendor management lifecycle. This role is critical in driving cost-efficiency, ensuring material availability, and supporting operational excellence across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets in alignment with production schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal pricing, lead time, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with domestic and international suppliers to secure long-term value.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to proactively manage risk and identify sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and planning teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain and optimize supplier performance through KPI tracking, periodic reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost analysis principles.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
