- Bachelor's in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Science is preferred. Mechanical Engineering with applicable experience acceptable.
- Must have 10+ years of navigation system integration, or related airborne systems; including hardware and software integration is required.
- Must have experience with integration and certification of aviation navigation systems and components such as Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter (Radalt), TACAN, VOR, ILS/GS, etc.
- Must have experience with SAE ARP4754/4761, DO-160, DO-201, DO-229, DO-236, AC 20-138 and 14 CFR Part 27 and 29.
- Experience with Aerospace engineering processes including requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements validation, requirements verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety.
- Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external, and brief leaders/customers.
