Maintenance Technician
Westfield, Indiana,
Position Overview: This position is a full-time, in-plant position. The ideal candidate will maintain wire harness machinery, perform monthly calibration of applicator equipment, and maintain tooling. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostics tests as necessary, perform preventive maintenance, repair machines and equipment as needed, deal with incoming work orders, and abide by company policies and safety regulations.
Minimum Competency Requirements:
- 2- to 4-years in the technical field or applicable job experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance
Cleans and lubricates machinery, performs preventive maintenance inspections, and oils and lubricates moving parts. Maintains electrical test equipment, repairs, and rewires as necessary.
- Repairs
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electronic equipment up to and including: installing, modifying, and dismantling machines.
- Diagnosis
Performs basic diagnostic tests checks to maintain machine performance, and tests damaged parts to determine if major repairs are needed.
- Other duties
Records and reports damaged parts, maintains equipment part inventories, writes work instructions, and builds prototype wire harnesses. Performs all monthly calibration requirements.
