Job Description:

NCW is currently searching for an Inside Sales Associate in Dallas, TX. The role of the Inside Sales Associate is to manage, support and retain existing, inactive, or new customers in the construction, industrial and manufacturing marketplace. The role requires upselling products, equipment and services, and new business development in targeted accounts. Top performers will exhibit proven experience in an internal, results-oriented sales or service-based role.  

  • Primary effort is account management to support and service existing customer needs.
  • Represents the Company by telephone and email to qualify and influence existing, inactive or new customers to identify or develop new sales opportunities.
  • Communicates product specials and other marketing programs to promote the company and support customer retention.
  • Collaborates with field sales, customer service and internal departments to manage sales activities, lead generation and assure customer needs are met.
  • Achieves defined sales goals and quota via an established sales process and plan.
  • Proposes pricing and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Maintains and refines database of customers, contacts, and prospective customers.
  • Tracks customer sales activities for account retention and development.
  • Communicates effectively with manager any challenges, successes, and needs.
  • Provides ideas, recommendations and support regarding customer retention and new business development.
  • Stays up to date on sales skills, professional knowledge, and self-training to maximize professional growth and advancement.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field Preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in an internal sales or service-based support role.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the sales process.
  • Strong skills in qualifying and developing new business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of computers and software (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, CRM Software, etc.)
