Training at NCW is a large part of what we value as a company. 5 service tech trainees get into the books and learn more about optimizing their work.

The 5S’s were developed by Toyota and came to America as part of the Lean Thinking movement in the 1990s. The 5S’s help reduce operation waste, improve productivity, and engage your employees in continuous improvement.
At NCW, we are teaching this lean thinking to our HVAC Service Tech Trainees.


  • Sorting;

  • Sweeping;
  • Standardizing; and
  • Self-discipline.
